Ultimate Spring Training Camp - Maple Leaf Cycling Club mountain training camp is for cyclists who are serious about improving their athletic performance and road cycling experience.


Georgia USA Training Camp Dates 2010

  • Week 1 March 6th - 13th
  • Week 2 March 13th - 20th
  • Week 3 March 20th - 27th
  • Week 4 March 27th - April 3rd

Ride Brasstown Bald Mountain and the Gaps: Unicoi, Jack's, Hogpen, Woody's, Wolfpen and Neil's, on the friendly pristine roads of Georgia.

$600.00 USD includes; 7 nights accommodation, 3 meals a day, training program, mapped rides and coaching

Deposit of $250.00 USD are transferable but non refundable.
Once you have registered for the camp, you will be emailed an itinerary including directions and information for booking any additional services.
Riders are responsible to provide for their own food and drink for the rides.

Well appointed luxury mountain lodge.
  • Check in Saturday 3:00 pm - 10:30 pm
  • Check out following Saturday 10:00 am
  • Extended stays are $100 USD /night

Daily Schedule


Tentative training outline is subject to change.
Rides supersede all other training.
  • Breakfast
  • Dynamic Stretching
  • Daily ride 3-5 hour rides (various routes including flats, rolling hills and mountains)
  • Lunch (Shower/ Hot tub/ Static Stretching)
  • Down time
  • Off bike training (Core conditioning, Plyometrics, Running, Yoga, Nawotobi)
  • Dinner
  • Itinerary Meeting
  • Cycling Theory 1 hr (optional) alternating days

Additional Service Options:
Individual Lifestyle Coaching assessment and program, Professional Bike Fitting and Massage Therapy are all available on site by appointment.

Riders are required to supply their own food and drink for the rides.

Transportation


The most affordable transportation to camp is by car. If you would like to car pool please use the club Facebook page to arrange departures.

Weather


Monthly average high for March is 60 deg. Daily norms are 57 - 66.
Climbing and descending the mountains will require proper layering, please pack accordingly.
